About Me

Hi there and welcome to my little space! Bear with me while I am slowly starting up my blog! 

My name is Courtney and I love my sweet family. I am a stay at home mom and wife and I go to school part-time. I love my camera, thrift stores, my cats and horses. I have a wonderful unique love for homes of all kinds, my favorite are old homes with character and charm, I could spend all day driving around neighborhoods of tree lines streets just looking at beautiful homes. We currently rent and have rented for the past 8 years. It has really opened up my mind for creating and decorating in unique ways. In my rentals, I don't usually put anything on the walls so I get creative with my decor and how I incorporate things to make a house our home. 

I really enjoy talking and blogging, I feel like I could write forever. I have so much fun explaining whats on my mind, crazy or not! In person I have always been more guarded and shy so blogging is really a creative way for me to open up and share without feeling super scared or nervous. 

My dream is a crazy one but I want to own my very own chic thrift shop that has upscale clothing and  refurbished furniture everywhere! I'd also love to flip homes! It would be so much fun!

I can't wait to buy a home and really dig in to the home makeovers!

I plan to also share lifestyle type things which include my thrifting tips and also just generally what we are up to! I love taking photos and we also take a lot of frequent weekend trips and use AirBNB, I  plan to share our visits as well. I also enjoy cooking and baking, I love creating new recipes and trying recipes. 

As a mom of 3 boys, I feel pretty powerful but the one thing I won't share is about parenting, we are all wonderful parents trying our very best, I don't welcome judging or shaming here.
